March Newsletter
March is a month of in-between as we learn from the varied language and content assessments completed in February and modify our students' learning to meet their needs. I will also start actively hiring for next school year as our campus continues to grow.

Valentine's Day has been one of my favorite holidays since I was a child because my family celebrated it as a time to acknowledge our family members and friends, not simply romantic love. This month, I'm eager to share what I love about our school during We Love Winn Montessori Week, February 10-14.

Happy New Year, Winn Montessori community! Our staff is returning rested and ready for the challenge of helping every student on-campus meet their academic and social emotional goals.

Our Lower Elementary students are performing Wednesday, Dec. 11 for our first Winter Concert since I've been principal. We will only have seats for 125 with more standing room but the show will only be about 30 minutes. We ask that families only bring two guests per student to help us accommodate space. I am so grateful for our new music teacher, Ms. Esperanza, for putting this together!

Two months left of this school year! November and December are busy times with two holiday breaks, our first winter concert, and two family meals!

I can not believe we are almost to the end of our first nine weeks together! It has been an honor to serve our school community and to spend my days with your children.

What a lovely first month of school! It has been a pleasure getting to know your children. Thank you for your patience and grace as we all learned new routines. I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Breakfast with Ms. Bridget, Garden Day, Parent Teacher Association meet-up, or our Watch Me Work night on September 18.

Remember that ALL Winn students receive free breakfast and lunch. Meals are an integral part of the school day and Montessori curriculum, so all students are HIGHLY encouraged to eat school meals.
