Winn Montessori is fortunate to have Communities in Schools (CIS) on our campus. CIS is the nation’s largest and most effective dropout prevention organization. For 40+ years, CIS has been helping students achieve in school, graduate and go on to bright futures.
Their school-based staff work in partnership with teachers and school administration to identify and address challenges students face in school or at home. These may range from immediate needs like clothing and food, to more complex needs like counseling and mentoring.
