Body Boundaries Lessons and Human Sexuality & Responsibility Curriculum

Each year, our campus provides age-appropriate body boundaries lessons and the K-5 Human Sexuality and Responsibility lessons which include a lesson on personal safety. These lessons help normalize personal boundaries and teach students what to do if a boundary is broken.

The HSR curriculum content will be delivered in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner and will include the most current and scientifically accurate information. The content of the curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Health Education, with supplemental content established by the National Sex Education Standards that have been approved by the Board.

You can learn more about the different lessons here:

Permission Letters

Please complete your permission letter for the Body Boundaries and Human Sexuality and Responsibility lessons. Body Boundaries lessons are opt-out while HSR lessons are opt-in. Paper forms will be offered to families who need them.
