Families have several options for after-school care at Winn Montessori:

Third Base
- About the Program: The AISD-run Third Base After-School Care program provides care where children can learn, thrive, relax and have fun. All activities are conducted indoors and outdoors in spaces that are organized, safe, fun and challenging to children. All Third Base sites are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. All staff are trained in CPR/First Aid and receive training in childcare–related fields.
- Location: On the Winn Montessori campus
- Ages: 3 and up (all Winn students are eligible even though their flyers say PreK4 and up)
- Hours: After school until 6:00pm
- 2025-26 Cost: $275/month and students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee assistance is available for qualifying families and CCS is accepted.

- Additional Information: Check out the Parent Handbook. Monthly tuition includes care on some school holidays. Summer camp is also available.

Boys & Girls Clubs
- About the Program: Provides high-quality programming, academic support, and a safe space for kids to learn and grow on the Sheth Family Campus, a 32,000-square foot facility complete with indoor (STEM learning center, art studio, gym, and sport court) and outdoor (sports fields and courts, playscape, and walking track) amenities. Year-long enrollment for ages 5-18.
- Location: Boys & Girls Clubs home campus located at 6648 Ed Bluestein Boulevard, less than half a mile from the Winn campus
- Transportation: Students are transported on an Austin ISD bus
- Ages: At least 5 AND ALSO in Kindergarten (no PreK students admitted)
- Hours: After school until 6:00pm
- 2024-25 Cost: Normally $100/month, but FREE for Winn students beginning in November 2024 (likely through August 2025) due to an Austin ISD-specific grant. Financial aid is available and no family is turned away due to inability to pay.

- Additional Information: Care on some school holidays and summer programs is included in the monthly fee.

City of Austin Recreation Center Program
- About the Program: The 2025-2026 program will explore How Things Work! Discover how motion, robotics, and the human body connect as students engage with fun games and activities. Includes snack, active play, enrichment activities, and homework time.
- Location: Givens Recreation Center at 3811 East 12th Street
- Transportation: Students are transported on a PARD bus
- Ages: 5 and up (PreK students are allowed after they turn 5)
- Hours: After school until 6:00pm
- 2025-26 Cost: $140/Month for Austin residents and $220/Month for non-residents. Austin PARD Youth Programs Financial Aid (50% off) is available and ALL Winn students qualify (regardless of income) because Winn is a CEP (free lunch) school. The discount applies for all PARD programs!

- Additional Information: Givens Recreation Center has many programs available including team sports, summer camps and school holiday camps (school holidays not included in monthly tuition). Visit the center website for more information.
Creative Action
- About the Program: Arts-based programs that combine social & emotional learning and social justice education for positive youth development.
- Location: On the Winn Montessori campus
- Ages: Kinder and up
- Hours: After school until 6:00pm
- 2025-26 Cost: $345/month and sliding scale options are available based on income
